Delete your account

You delete your Core5 account from this website, signed in. It takes effect immediately and it cannot be undone.

How

In the app, Settings → Account → Delete account opens this same page. Signing in again is the point: an account is deleted by the person who can prove it is theirs, not by whoever has an unlocked device in their hands.

If you own an organization

Hand it over first, or delete the organization — a company's work does not disappear because one person leaves. Both are in Account → Teams.

What gets deleted

Everything stored on our servers under your account, permanently: your tasks, projects, comments, focus sessions, rules, settings and your sign-in details. Any access tokens for Slack, Notion or HubSpot are destroyed with it. Backup copies still holding your rows are rotated out within 14 days.

What is not ours to delete

Your Google account and everything in it — your mail and your calendar — belongs to Google, and deleting Core5 does not touch it. Core5's permission to read it ends immediately; you can also remove it yourself at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The same goes for Slack, Notion and HubSpot: the data stays in your workspace.

Anything cached on your own devices goes when you delete the app.

If you cannot sign in

Write to privacy@core5app.com from the email address the account uses, and we will delete it for you within 30 days — usually the same day.
